About the Practice

How long is each session?
60 minutes, one-on-one with Dr. Bethany Reuter. Every visit.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on the issue. Most clients see meaningful progress in the first couple of visits. Factors like the length of time you have been experiencing symptoms and the number of symptoms you are experiencing will likely play a role in recommended frequency. Your evaluation will outline this with a clear plan to address all of your goals and concerns.
Can I see you for multiple concerns?
Absolutely, that is what we do best! Within the medical model we have many specialty care providers. This model separates your body into parts, typically with a new or different person for each. At Enhance we would rather treat you from head to toe, addressing your orthopedic, pelvic, and overall health to help make you as adaptable and strong as possible.
What is the difference between Enhance PT and a typical insurance-based clinic?
Insurance-based clinics often limit treatment options based on what is reimbursable, with added pressure to get people better faster using the fewest visits possible. It is harder to address multiple body parts during the same plan of care, so the model often separates your body into parts and addresses one at a time. You will likely be discharged early, without reaching your full potential or having all of your needs met. At Enhance PT you get 60 minutes with Dr. Bethany every visit, full hands-on care, and a plan built around all of your goals at once.

Pricing and Payment

How much does a session cost?
New client evaluations are $200 for 60 minutes. Follow-up visits are $175 for 60 minutes. Payment is due at time of service.
Do you take insurance?
No. Enhance PT is a direct-pay practice and does not contract with any insurance network. This is what allows full 60-minute sessions, one-on-one care, and treatment plans built around your goals instead of a billing code.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. Physical therapy is an eligible expense for both Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts. Bring your card or be reimbursed by your account administrator.
Will my insurance reimburse me?
Possibly. I provide a detailed superbill on request that you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement amounts vary by plan. Call your insurance and ask about out-of-network PT benefits before your first visit if reimbursement matters to you.

Getting Started

Do I need a physician referral?
No. Minnesota is a direct access state, which means you have the right to seek treatment from a licensed physical therapist without a referral. Direct access is limited to 90 days. If you need treatment beyond that and want to use insurance reimbursement, a referral may be helpful.
How do I book a visit?
Schedule online at the booking link, call (651) 369-1196, or fill out the contact form.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Comfortable clothes to move in, any relevant imaging or reports, a list of medications, and your HSA/FSA card or payment method.

Pelvic Floor Specific

Do I need an internal pelvic exam?
No. Internal exams are offered when they would meaningfully inform your care, but they are optional. You can decline, postpone, or stop at any time.
Do you treat men?
Yes. I have specific training in mens pelvic health including prostate cancer recovery, chronic prostatitis, pelvic pain, and orthopedic concerns.

Telehealth

Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. I offer telehealth physical therapy for residents of Minnesota and Wisconsin via a secure HIPAA-compliant video platform. Telehealth is billed at the same rate as in-person visits.

Location and Policies

Where are you located?
1826 Northwestern Ave, Stillwater, MN 55082, inside River Valley Athletic Club within the Salon and Spa area. Parking is on site.
What is your cancellation policy?
Enhance PT provides one-on-one 60-minute sessions and does not double book appointments, in order to provide the highest quality of care possible. Because of this, cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours notice. To cancel or reschedule, call (651) 369-1196 and leave a message at least 24 hours before your appointment. Appointments that need to be cancelled or rescheduled on a Monday must be reported to the office by Friday at 3pm to avoid a late cancellation fee. A $75 late fee applies to any late cancellation, and any no-call, no-show appointment will be charged the full cost of the session.
